Renovation of a Wooden Trailer
During June-August 2013 four of our tenants supervised by Afsaneh Cooper renovated the old wooden rusty trailer. This trailer is advantaged over steel trailers as they do not need to be parked under cover when it rains. Also their renovation is easy and cheap compared to bend and rusty steel trailers. The tenants first pulled out all damaged old timbered by unscrewing them from the frame. Then they removed rust from the steel frame. Then the lights were replaced with modern LED lights which now come with cords and plug. Then the trailer box was built with new wood and doweling method using Mitre & Table Saws. At the end they spray painted all the trailer and enforced the wood joints with ailing steel plates to the wood.
